Marietta is a quaint borough on the Susquehanna River in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
It is noted for the private restoration of its 18th and 19th century homes.    Each year on the
first Sunday in December, a select group of owners of these restored treasures open their
doors to the public.    Proceeds of the Tour are used to support the ongoing efforts of the
Marietta Restoration Associates.

Our tour is self-guided.    You will visit the interiors of the featured homes plus other public
buildings.   Local shops and restaurants are open for the tour.    Ample free parking is
available, and several free shuttle-buses circulate among the tour sites and parking areas.

Marietta is located on Route 441, approximately three miles north of the Columbia/Marietta
exit of U.S. Route 30.    along the banks of the Susquehanna River.

Our town is centrally located between Lancaster, York, Hersey, and Harrisburg attractions,
in western Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
